  Training from FEMA

• Look here for a list of FEMA Independent Study courses that we are all eligible to take.

  IS-100, IS-200 and IS-700 are recommended. IS-700 is required for response to FEMA administered disasters.
  Please notify your EC when you successfully complete any of these courses.

• An Introduction to NIMS Class
  These web based FEMA classes seem to assume you will complete them in one sitting. This is not always practical. We recommend that you print out the lessons, study them on your schedule and then return to the web when you are ready to take the final test.
